Mrs. Tracy Commock is the Director of the Natural History Museum of Jamaica (a Division of the Institute of Jamaica). In this position, she is responsible for management of the Museum which includes botanical and zoological collections, exhibitions and field stations and supervising the staff whose work includes research and education. Mrs. Commock has a B.Sc. and M.Phil. Degree in Botany from The University of the West Indies. She is currently working to complete her Ph.D. research in botany at The UWI with a focus on a genus in the family Euphorbiaceae. Mrs. Commock has served Jamaica as a member of the country’s delegation to the UNESCO World Heritage Committee.
