Sherry Ann Wint Turner is a chemistry educator, scientist, and entrepreneur who enjoys helping students understand science in exciting and simple ways. She currently works as a chemistry teacher at Campion College in Kingston, where she teaches students important ideas about matter, reactions, and how the world around us works. In addition to teaching, she is the co founder of mychemistryhub, an online platform that provides videos, lessons, and tutoring to help Caribbean students prepare for CSEC and CAPE chemistry exams. Her work shows how technology can be used to make learning science easier and more accessible.
Sherry-Ann Wint-Turner is a proud graduate of the Glenmuir High School and earned her Bachelors’ degree (B.Sc.) in Applied Chemistry and Food Chemistry at The University of the West Indies. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Philosophy degree (M.Phil.) in Chemistry at The UWI. Specifically, her research is focused on identifying chemical compounds which can easily be used to detect harmful substances like mercury in the environment (see more information at Websites).
